Moment of transparency

It has been hard my whole life trying to keep my weight under control. But I had to learn I HAVE THE REMOTE CONTROL to ME! So one had to learn how to control my eating habits, how to control my thoughts of putting my self down when I didn’t reach a goal I had set. I was setting unattainable goals. Like it’s December and my bday is in January so I’m bout loose this belly, up this butt and drop like 3 dresses all In 30days!!!! Like how sway?! It took me how many years of an unhealthy diet and no consistent exercising to get here and NOW just because I’m trying to fit into this dress on my born day I’m magically about to be all the “goals” I wanted to be in 30days???

No way my beautiful dreamer. Grace and patience is what one had to give thyself, it was going to and still has to take time to get them “goals” .

Nothing short of great in this world happened over night. But I’m a goal getter, so I had to set obtainable goals.

If one has never been heavy, I mean HEAVY HEAVY  they truly can’t relate to the struggle. I say that to some of these fitness gurus who may or may not have been on someones operation table and now wants to preach about fitness and wellness.
Like seriously, how you got me doing burpees and all this other shit and I just told you I ain’t worked out In 3 years. My knees ghee, ain’t going. You see this titties and belly this too much rite now to be trying to have me up and down...baby steps my friend, baby steps. I felt intimidated and then loss motivation because it’s too much too soon

I was a whopping 274 lbs before making my decision to say I NEED TO CREATE DISCIPLINE. Had to be strong enough to change my ways. Here is what I did when first started almost 2 years ago.

🌟Walked my neighborhood 3x a week for  30-45mins. I used upbeat music to get me moving like POP/techno ðŸ’•power walk/lite jog during the chorus

🌟Replaced one meal a day with a green smoothie, it was usually my breakfast and two days out the week I only cooked vegetarian meals. (Studies have shown that by replacing 2 days out of your week with vegetarian options adds 10+ years to your life)

🌟Cut sweets out mainly POP/SODA I tried it for 7days first, then did another 7 days and so on and so fourth and before you knew it BOOM 14lbs gone just like that!
🌟I never deprived myself; this is where SELF CONTROL HAS TO KICK IN this is where you need to be STRONG AS FUCK. Want some pop? I would have half a can followed by water. Want some chips, small bag and share it with the kids don’t be greedy sharing is caring. Want some fried. Chicken? Eat a wing that’s it that’s all. Feeling like fast food? Kids meal it, don’t get the pop or get a salad or soup instead of fries.
We are only human so that’s why I say you must give yourself grace.

I AM VERY EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT I WILL BE WORKING WITH LONI SWAIN OF WGCI TO DO HAIR. Networking can be great and so can word of mouth. It is very important to keep a good work ethic, positive attitude, and positive energy anytime you work with anyone. You never know who you could come across when you do gigs. I just so happen to be doing the make-up for models, at an upcoming jewelry designer(Kim Essex of ESSEXORIES) a few weeks ago and the ladies loved my work. The designer has a daughter whose involved in the broadcasting/media world(Briana Fachon Daniels like her FB) and she was at the show and we talked about my talents; next thing I know I'm checking my emails and there is opportunity waiting for me.....now the rest is going to be my history. BUT THIS GOES TO SHOW YOU, OPPORTUNITY SOMETIMES COMES KNOCKING AND WHEN IT DOES YOU MUST ANSWER IT OR IT WON'T COME AGAIN, BUT OFTEN TIMES, OPPORTUNITY DOESN'T KNOCK YOU MUST KICK THAT DOOR DOWN AND GO IN FULL FORCE (OPTIMUS

ARE YOU READY TO CHANGE YOUR FUTURE

Anyone who knows me knows hair/make-up is my thing, I'm getting back into 'my craft' now. I took a couple of years for me to realize that I needed to work with my craft inside of against it;and for years I did. I've always been into fashion and spent last six years of my life managing fashion retail in popular chain stores, but that's not for me anymore. Thursday I quite my job to pursue my career,to take charge of my future. I'm a little  scared of what's to come but I'm going to keep faith in me and what I know I'm capable of and its waaaayyy more than what I was doing. Everyone is like,'I don't know why you quit hair school in the first place'. I just tell them it wasn't for YOU to figure out, I had to be ready. http://www.bobparsons.me/bp_16_rules.php?ci=21428   check out this link it is  very helpful for hopefuls
